These people get paid to sit on their ass and press print but even then they're too stupid and lazy to actually help people. Worst experience don't even bother coming here. This place is a joke and no one wants to help you. I really wish there was a way to report this place because the people who work here seriously will turn you away and don't care about helping you. I wouldn't even give this one star.

The solitary visible employee said the hour was too late to began working on an issue this complex, and it would be better for me to drive downtown to the main Chicago office, or to go to the IRS website, which I knew wasn't working properly. A helpful hint he provided was that I might prefer to return another day at 7:30 AM, and wait in line for the doors to open at 8:30 AM, so I would have a good place in line.

They take too long to get u a simple tax transcript. It's only 5 people in the room and we've been waiting for 3 hours. They went to lunch without notifying us that it will take an extra hour delay. They don't know how to use a computer so therefore they will refer you to do it online or blame the computer for the delay.

Went in for a simple 15 minute nonfiler verification and was told that I needed an appointment even thought they take walkins. Lady at the reception was ignorant and unwilling to help. I would also like to add that they were completely empty. Very disappointing!!! These people need a job working at a factory cause it seems to me they are underqualified for these government job!!!! Seriously, who hires these people!!!

Bad at the Phone when you set up the appointment, horrible at the appointment.... No stars....but they don't let you Post this comment without click on the actual star, but I mean no star..LOL

I arrived at 1:30 PM at the IRS field office in Orland Park. There were 25 people seated in the waiting room, and one IRS employee visible. There were other IRS employees present, but they were concealed in cubicles behind opaque screens so I couldn't see them. The line to the check-in desk had four people standing in-line, and the solitary IRS employee who was visible was joking about whether the wait to see an agent was 3 hours or 5 hours. After 30 minutes, I advanced to the head of the four-person long line, and explained my problem, "Where was my tax refund from 2013"?
